Positive Affirmations Every Monday!

Many of us struggle daily with our inner negative Nancy. Although, I have discovered a way to block out negative thoughts. It helps when I write down positive quotes and affirmations that make me feel confident and more at peace.

 When I find myself in a mood for the day, I refer back to the positive quotes and affirmations I’ve previously written to help snap out of the negativity. Happiness is a choice you have to choose every day. I know all too well how easy it can be to fall into that overthinking cycle of negativity and how difficult it can be to get out. That’s the reason I make these posts every Monday to help others like me break that cycle.

List three of your “greatest hits” from the year 2021.

This is what I wrote, short and sweet.

  1. Moving to Reno, NV was for sure one for the books that I’ll cherish, and remember for the rest of my life. I grew so much and became stable in life, and my relationship.
  2. Moving back to Texas to renovate our new home.❤️
  3. Lastly my favorite was being able to see how far I’ve come within a year. I’m incredibly proud of how strong I am and still becoming.

2021 was a year worth while. Both good and bad, but I’m still so blessed and forever grateful.

I hope everyone is enjoying the company of yourselves and our loved ones this holiday season.

We had a beautiful time this year with our families. Edward and I, It’s always good to see everyone.

This Christmas has been especially good to me and mine.

We’ve been blessed with a good stable job for the next few years to come$$$.
All my relationships with everyone around me are thriving.
The LOML and I got each other new desks for our offices at home, and we are obsessed with them!

2022 will be a year full of even more blessings to come!

How are you doing? Oh, me?

Hi y’all.

It’s been a while again… I’m sorry.

How are you doing? I’m genuinely asking.

Also while I have you, can I ask:

If I was a streamer would you come watch me play video games/hang out with me?

Before I get into my life lately, I wanna say now, I’m doing great. I’m just going through it with this emotional rollercoaster.

It’s me, I’m the emotional roller coaster. Hear me out though, I think it has everything to do with me on my own journey to finding and loving myself.

I’ve been correcting things in my life that have shed light on areas I want to work on.

A HUGE part of this process is taking risks when it comes to being my true self. I hold back a lot because I’m nervous what others will think of me.

I’m learning to embrace my personality, and love me for everything I am.

I happen to think I’m funny- others think I’m weird…, but WHO cares!! I’m happily me.

Ultimately, I’m slowly trying to get out of my shell which is why I was wondering if any of you would watch my stream if I ever got the guts to go live!

Being a streamer would be an amazing dream come true, but in order to do that, I’d have to actually do it first… scary.

I know I’d be great and I try to be positive. Even if no one watched, I’d still really enjoy it.

First I need a camera.. I have lots of work to do. (Excuses) Ahhhh anxiety.

Todays random prompt question is:

What was meaningful today?

Well, if we are talking about actual events that happened only today. I’d have a list full of mindfulness, such as: Waking up healthy well rested in my bed, inside my own house that I share with my best friend who our relationship is so solid we can be away from each other and still hold the love and trust towards one another. These are the simple gratitudes I experience every morning that make the day meaningful, but today. I want to share my awakening..

Today is meaningful for so many reasons. I have a TON of blessings to count and still counting. But today isn’t about that. My awakening, my meaningful day, was because I see myself today. I need to say that again, I CAN SEE MYSELF TODAY. I can see everything I want to become inside of me. I see my beauty. I see my heart. I see my true personality, and I’m in love. I see a beautiful woman, the kind of woman I’ve always envied in others. I see her in me. She’s always been there, and I only know that because people say “everything you want to be is already inside of you,”
I always knew that but experiencing it!?
I feel reborn. I feel happy for the first time in a long time. Because for once in my life, I can finally say I am in love with myself.

I missed this Mondays affirmations of the week!

I do apologize.

I’m currently in Chicago and loving this cold fall weather, it also rained all weekend so when Monday came around I was hibernating.

I’ve been addicted to animal crossings on my Nintendo switch as well, trying to get ready for the new update!

Cozy vibes all around and I’m loving it.

It’s also very needed for me to relax and unwind.

I had to share this is something I struggle with daily!


On my not-so-good days, I know something isn’t feeling right inside myself, but I can’t figure out the reason why I’m unsettled.
The first mistake that I’m still trying to work through is when we experience an off day on most occasions, it isn’t due to one specific reason.
Most unwanted feelings are usually caused by multiple triggers, even the triggers’ we weren’t aware of

Here are a few tips we can try to help us identify our feeling:

*List your worries!

*Don’t judge whether or not your thoughts are valid.

*Journal!

*Figure out if your body is giving you signals, like upset stomach- anxiety
Clenched jaw- anger

*Find 3 words to describe how you’re feeling

Try to open up and talk to someone

That’s all for today, just a few quick tips to try out next time instead of overthinking to death.
