Affirmations of the Week!

Affirmations of the Week!

Hello!

Welcome, to this week’s Affirmations of the Week!

Positive Affirmations Every Monday!

Many of us struggle daily with our inner negative Nancy. Although, I have discovered a way that helps me to block out negative thoughts. I like to write down positive quotes and affirmations that make me feel confident and more at peace.

When I find myself in a mood for the day, I refer back to the positive quotes and affirmations I’ve previously written to help snap out of the negativity. Happiness is a choice you have to choose everyday. I know all too well, how easy it can be to fall into that overthinking cycle of negativity, and how difficult it can be to get out. That’s the reason I make these posts every Monday to help others like me break that cycle.

Let’s do this!

Affirmations

  • I appreciate who I am today
  • I am comfortable in my own skin
  • I am allowed to take time out of my day for myself
  • I am exactly who I want to be
  • I am more consistent with my time
  • I will try my best in everything I do
  • I deserve all that is good
  • I am worthy of my dreams
  • I am a good person
  • I am healing
  • I forgive myself and set myself free
  • I will succeed
  • I am enough
  • I am full of gratitude
  • I have the power within me to do anything I want
  • I radiate happiness and love
  • I am grateful for what I have and will accomplish.
See the beauty in all.

Quotes

Nothing in this world can bother you as much as your own mind.

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than my grandest intention.

Oscar Wilde

Behind every strong person is s story that gave them no choice.

“People cry, not because they’re weak. It’s because they’ve been strong for too long.”

Johnny Depp

Sometimes you think that you want to disappear but all you really want is to be found.

You’ll be fine.

Feeling unsure and lost is part of your path. Don’t avoid it.
Breathe.

You’ll be okay.

That’s all for today, I hope you all enjoy my little boost through the week! Have a great day, and even better week.

Daily Prompt Question: What are some things you’re thankful for?

Daily Prompt Question: What are some things you’re thankful for?

I’m mostly thankful for my blog and my followers, always. I’m almost at 200! THANK YOU!! It means a lot you guys don’t even know.

I’m thankful for my ability to create posts that help me and help others going through the same issues as me. It has brought out the best in me, and when I’m working for my blog, I’m working on myself as well. I use this as a way to keep track of my mental wellness journey. This ties into another thing I am thankful for, my progress over the past few years. Since my blog, my mind is more at ease. I can control my reactions a little better, Now, I still have a ways to go, BUT I’m so glad to be where I am now mentally. I only wished I’d done something about it sooner!

Finally, I am thankful for everyone in my life. My family, of course. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today, and I think I turned out pretty awesome!
I’m thankful for the friends that I’m closest to, I don’t let too many people in or involved with my life, so it’s rare for me to have “friends” I’m picky! But the ones that I do have. I hope they know how much they mean to me.
I’m solely thankful for my boyfriend. How did I get so lucky? He’s been with me through it all, good, bad he’s still is so kind and so sweet and caring. He takes care of me, makes me coffee, keeps me calm, easy-going, plus he laughs at all my jokes! He’s going to be the best husband/dad anyone could ever have.
I love him so much. He deserves more from me because I am one lucky girl!

Anyways, I had fun with this one! Don’t forget to have a good day!

I hope you enjoyed today’s post. I’ll see you soon with another!

Please, feel free to write your thoughts on the prompt. What are some things you’re thankful for?

Inspired by Buddha

Inspired by Buddha

Recently I bought a notebook with prompts inside and one of them was this quote.

Every morning we are born again. What we do today matters most.

-Buddha

Then says, with this quote in mind, what will you do today that matters?

To be honest I’ve been sitting on this page for awhile. Stuck on what to say to match exactly how it makes me feel.
It really inspires me and when I’m having a rough day it reminds me to live in the present, it motivates me to work on myself harder today, so that tomorrow I feel POWERFUL.

So here’s what I finally wrote to answer the question.

Today I will live life as if it were my last. We all should live like this.
Everyday is a blessing, tomorrow is never guaranteed. If today matters most, let’s make it the best one yet.

We should reach out to our loved ones more let them know they are loved, doing so also helps remind ourselves we are loved and being thought about as well.

Today I want to spend my time laughing and loving my amazing boyfriend. Enjoy each others company, jokes, leaving no time to dwell on anything negative from the past. I will feel my heart & thoughts with confidence and positivity.

I believe that having a good mindset today will help bring you good vibes tomorrow.

Do something to make today special, then keep doing that everyday after.

This quote brings out the best in me. It inspires me to be a better person than I was yesterday. I thought it was to good not to share with everyone. I hope this quote helps bring out the best in you today!

All The Photos I’ll Take… Someday

All The Photos I’ll Take… Someday

Do you take pictures often?

What do you take pictures of?

Are you a selfie kind of person, or do you like to capture moments to remember?

Are you the kind of person who likes to live in the moment instead of being behind a screen?

If yes, do you regret not taking pictures more often?

What would you have to show your kids in the future?

I never got yearbooks and towards the end of hell.. excuse me I mean high school, I’d skip picture day or everyday but that’s not the point.

The point here when should I know when I need to bring a camera.

I know I can use my phone but I like high quality, and sorry iPhone but your just not it.

Ive been thinking lately about getting a GOOD camera to take beautiful landscape pictures on. I like to use my own pictures on my website and from traveling so much. I come across so many beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

One of these days…

I have a few photos ive taken on my website if you’d like to check it out!

I love taking landscape pictures. Even though the photo never really captures just how beautiful it is unless you see it in person.
Nature is a beautiful thing.

We are blessed!

Daily Prompt Question

Daily Prompt Question

When is the last time you cried?

The last time I cried was on my dads birthday. I sat down to write in my journal that morning like every morning, (Well almost every morning..)

I had a lot on my mind and wanted to write it out, but not even a dent was made in the page before I closed my journal, turned to my boyfriend, and started crying on his lap.

He comforted me of course. ( He’s really the best ever)

It was a combination of emotions kind of cry. I was sad, sad because of the heart break we have done to each other, and sad that we are both to stubborn to apologize. Touched by flashbacks, good and bad. I felt homesick, wishing I could be there to do something to make his day special. Maybe it would help make up for all those bad memories. I was overwhelmed with emotions over my dads birthday. I do love my dad but our relationship is a weird one. Although, I’m thankful for a fresh start with him, and I’m grateful for our good memories. Those are the ones I will cherish. I hope to make more good memories with him and I hope he had a great Birthday this year!

This is a new thing I am trying to keep me focused on writing and posting everyday.
Daily Prompt Question.

Please, feel free to write your thoughts on the prompt. When is the last time you cried?

I am Full of Gratitude

I am Full of Gratitude

Today I woke up to the soothing feeling of my air conditioner, next to my love, I am full of gratitude.
I made my bed mindfully, something I learned from reading.
A book that has opened my eyes, on how to be mindful, minus all the lies
For that, I am full of gratitude.
I sat down, relaxed, I am blessed, truly feel blessed.
I imagine what happiness looks like
my mind paints a picture.
Wildflowers, lilies, roses
Miles and miles,
Sunflowers, tulips, daisies, colors all enraging.
No end in sight, no need to take flight
Happiness is home
a field full of flowers.
and because of that,
I am full of gratitude.
