Affirmations of the week

Hello

Welcome, to this week’s Affirmations of the Week!

Positive Affirmations Every Monday!

Many of us struggle daily with our inner negative Nancy. Although, I have discovered a way to block out negative thoughts. It helps to write down positive quotes and affirmations that make me feel confident and more at peace.

When I find myself in a mood for the day, I refer back to the positive quotes and affirmations I’ve previously written to help snap out of the negativity. Happiness is a choice you have to choose every day. I know all too well how easy it can be to fall into that overthinking cycle of negativity and how difficult it can be to get out. That’s the reason I make these posts every Monday to help others like me break that cycle.

Positive Quotes

The more anger you hold in your heart towards the past,
the less capable you are of loving the present.

The thoughts in your mind affect your outer world,
think your best feeling thoughts as much as you can.

The biggest source of motivation are your own thoughts,
so think big and motivate yourself to win.

Never take anything for granted because sooner or later the wheel turns.

Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet. Do your work with mastery.
Like the moon, come out from behind the clouds. SHINE.

You are allowed to take your time,
to grow in your own beautiful way.

Affirmations

  • I release stress every time I exhale.
  • I hold a positive mental outlook on me and my life.
  • I choose happiness every moment!
  • I focus on my own results.
  • Today I am full of energy.
  • I love myself deeply and fully.
  • I find my worth on what’s inside my heart.
  • I support my body by moving it and growing strong.
  • I am getting wiser as I reflect on my feelings and actions.
  • I start my day in gratitude for what I already have and all of the life blessings that are coming my way.

That’s all for today!

I hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Random Prompt Question: Are you lucky?

Hello,

Welcome to my Random Prompt Question.

I had done this a while back, but I got burnt out..

Probably because I stressed myself out trying to do them daily.
Anyways I wanna try again but i’ll pace myself this go around.

Today’s question is:

Are you lucky; how so or not so?

I like to think that l am a lucky girl. For starters, I have the best people in my life. And amazing people who I have grown out of, and that’s okay. Things happen, but I’m still grateful for them, Past and present friends. My family, my sweet future husband/best boyfriend ever.

I also feel lucky for my job. This company has done so much for me. It has opened my eyes to a whole new world I never knew was out there. I’m just lucky enough to have the opportunity to get to travel and work on the road but still explore and find myself.

Now I have been to a casino a few too many times and lost more than I care to admit so, I’m not THAT lucky!

Still though, all jokes aside I am a very lucky, very blessed.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post. I’ll see you soon with another!

Please, feel free to write your thoughts on the prompt. Are you lucky; how so or not so?

Positive Quotes

If it doesn’t challenge you,

It doesn’t change you.

There’s always some truth behind “just kidding”,

Knowledge behind every “I don’t know”,

Emotion behind “I don’t care”, and pain behind “It’s okay”.

One, remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exists.
Be curious, and however difficult life may seem,
there is always something you can do and succeed at.

It matters that you don’t just give up

Stephen Hawking

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Dealing with life, everyday stuff and emotions can be tough.

You’re a brave soul on a mission.

You got this.

Don’t let anyone’s ignorance, hate, drama or negativity stop you from being the best person you are.

You don’t always have to know what to do next;

Just live.

Be kind.

Even on your bad days.

You don’t get results by focusing on results, you get results by focusing on the actions that produce results.

Mike Hawkins

Feeling bad but don’t know why?

Feeling bad but don’t know why?

Ask yourself:

How was my sleep?

Have I nourished my body today?

Am I spending too much time on social media?

How are the people around me affecting me?

How am I doing with my hygiene & cleanliness?

What am I putting my energy into?

Do I need some rest?

What is my mind craving?

What is my heart wishing for?

Is there a source of stress, or something, weighing on me?

What is the tone of my self-talk?

Mental Health Check!

Mental Health Check!

Hey!
Let’s check on ourselves today.

Sometimes we all get into a funk.

It’s that feeling of disconnect from nearly everything around you.
Are you feeling depressed lately? Overwhelmed, Anxious?

It’s okay that we feel like that sometimes…,

As long as we don’t let the feeling grow and develop and we correct the issue NOW!
In the moment of discomfort, because if we wait for the “right time,” we’ll be waiting forever.

Even if you’re not in a mood, it’s healthy to check in with yourself every once in a while to see where your mind is at., Or if you need to work on some areas in your life.

Mental Health is important, and too many people ignore their unwanted emotions and to bottle up their feelings.
NONE of which are healthy!

All you have to do is take a few moments to yourself.
Find a nice quiet place and take a few deep breaths in and out.

Once your relaxed, ask yourself these questions:

  • How am I feeling?
    (Physically & Mentally)
  • When did I last eat a whole meal?
  • When did I last drink water?
  • How long have I spent on my phone today?
  • When did I last breathe deeply?
  • When did I last talk to someone about my feelings?
  • When did I last go outside?
  • What can I celebrate today?
  • When did I last take a shower?
    (or bath)
  • What is taking up most of my headspace?
  • Am I tired?
  • What can I do that will bring me joy?
  • When did I last do a kind thing for someone else?
  • What kind of mantras should I meditate on today?

After each question, continue to have deep breaths (in and out) and be true to yourself. Write them down if needed.

The point of this exercise is to become more intune with your mind, spirit, and body.
I hope this helps! Use it as often as needed.

Quit overthinking. Just do it.

Peace.

It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Act like you have yourself together and eventually you will.

Guard your personal quiet times, since it is only there where you hear your authentic self.

It’s very hard to respect yourself when you give in to every temptation. If you want to build self-respect, build your willpower.

Nothing is more precious than being in the present moment. Fully alive, fully aware.

-Thich Nhat Hanh

There will never be a right time. Stop waiting and start doing.
